When selecting a funeral celebrant it is really important to know their role in the planning of the service.

- Liaison with your chosen Funeral Director to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Suggestions on the music to accompany the ceremony on arrival, reflection and departure
- Creating a fitting, uplifting tribute for the loved one incorporating family, friends and special interests, always respecting beliefs
- Suggestions for readings, poems and songs
- Provide a draft order of service for sign off prior to sending to the Funeral Director for printing
- Ideas for creative enhancements such as photographs, balloon drops, video coverages and additional tributes to the deceased
- Give guidance if required on a collection for a local or National Charity that you feel appropriate
- A complete run-through of the service the day before so you are happy with everything
- One full written record of the ceremony to be presented to the family at a later date
